A cemetery marking the graves of those killed by disease, suicide, and murder during the late 1800s. Boothill Cemetery stands on a hill overlooking the modern streets of Billings, MT. Years after the graves were filled in and covered over by indigenous grass and weeds, generic, iron crosses were placed as markers to memorialize the dead. It's an interesting site and an unexpected discovery as you walk, bike, or run along the the scenic Black Otter Trail near the main drag of Airport Road. Not to mention, it makes a great subject for any photographer. Enjoy.
