How can I turn down a free trip to the zoo? Turns out that in St. Louis you can visit their zoo, art museum, and history museum completely for free. How cool is that? I just didn't choose the best time to go. It was crazy hot and muggy, so the animals decided to take refugee in the air conditioning. Who could blame them. As I walked around checking the mostly empty enclosures, I envied the clear running waterfalls and pools that adorned each environment. It took some serious self control to not jump the barriers right into the glistening, cool water. The zoo is an amazing place and is the largest zoo I've ever been to. Even though I only saw about a quarter of it, I would definitely like to go back and see the entire place. On a much cooler day, of course. Enjoy!
